Welcome to December.
It’s disease prevention treatment month.
Now that you’ve lost your appetite let’s discuss the menu. Your choice
of tri tip or chicken cordon bleu roasted potatoes and blackberry cobbler for
dessert.
Chuck Ellsworth gave us a Quaker moment. Brad Mettam presided, resplendent in his
Rotary Vest. Keith Crossley brought Rick and Betty Littlefield to the podium to
announce that Betty would become a Paul Harris fellow. Rick contributed an additional $1000 to add
to his fellowship.
Our program was Christmas songs by Eureka High’s Limited Edition. They included such classics as Carol Of the
Bells and White Christmas and a humorous version of the Twelve Days Of
Christmas plus a new song “White Winter Hymnal written by the Fleet Foxes. They were directed by Charles Young.
Next week the meeting is off site at the Recology recycling
center in Samoa. Congressman Jim Wood will be speaking. You’ll need to RSVP to
Klark Swan pretty soon. Merry Christmas.
There are still openings for "Burl Reporter". No experience necessary. Must like thankless jobs.
